I’ve been registered on folksy.com since November 2008, but never really did much on there. However last week I decided to try listing some of my creations in a store on Folksy.
Not really sure how many online stores is a good thing, but can only give it a go. I added 2 cards and left it so I could create some more goodies to list. However on Monday 31st May I received my first sale! Talk about in shock!
The sale was for my customised Dragonfly wedding card, my latest creation, so was rather pleased. I’m planning on building up that store and then see how it goes since I’ve had one sale on both Folksy and Etsy so far, I think because Folksy is in the UK it might suit me better, but we’ll see, time will tell. My sale on Etsy was to a buyer in the UK as it happens.
I’m now off to finish off this card and get it posted out tomorrow.
The sun is shining and for some reason it makes me think of weddings. No idea why. Not a huge traditional wedding fan, but do like wedding decor.
My newest card creation is a very pretty and stylish Sparkly dragonfly wedding card, in ivory, pearl and gold.
I like to create personalised products so that they are more likely to be treasured after an event. Added to a scrapbook/memory album, wedding album, wedding box or even framed.
This particular card can be created in other colour options, maybe to match a colour scheme or a bride’s favourite colours.
I don’t personally know of any weddings happening just yet, think most people I know are either already married or are not marriage inclined.. maybe it will be mine! ha.. hmm maybe not! ; )
